coverage

I was in charge of creating the 'Press Coverage' page on the Go Lyv website. This entailed, putting together packs for the coverage including: logos, brand guidelines, fonts and media. I also had to design the banners for each of these packs which is displayed on the website page.

 

For the banners, I used fun and exciting images which reflect Go Lyv's brand and the type of events they offer. It was essential that the Go Lyv logo was on each of the banners and the name of each pack (example: 'Brand Guidelines').

What is Go Lyv?

​

Go Lyv is a startup ticketing company, whose brand revolves around the user experience of venue bookings and a new technology called ‘Sound Verification’. This technology uses ultra sonic sound to allow customers to enter events contact-free as well as receive and use exclusive perks.

 

The key demographic for Go Lyv were people aged 18-35, as the events are mainly nightlife events, some of which are at age restricted places.

Instagram Marketing

I was responsible for creating posts to market Go Lyv before and after the launch of the company. Myself and the marketing came up with different strategies of the best way to promote the launch of the business.

 

Our solution was to use graphics and iconography to show our audience what Go Lyv is. We also all agreed that we would use graphics rather than images for the first batch of posts to tease our audience into a subconscious countdown to see the real events taking place before the company's official launch.

​

All the posts follow the rules of the brand guidelines, which I myself was very familiar with, as I was the designer who created the Brand Guidelines document. The Instagram stories also followed these rules.

perks

Perks are one of the main things which makes Go Lyv stand out amongst its competitors. 

​

There are several types of perks you can get at Go Lyv, some of these include: meeting celebrities, free drinks, VIP tables etc... Perks are accessed through the Go Lyv app, and redeemed through sound verification at the till. Customers are able to see that the sound verification is redeeming a perk through their phone screen, as the screen will show the perk icon and colour.

We came up with a system of three tier perk colours, including:

​

Blue - A good perk deal such as, discounted food or drink

​

Red - An excellent perk deal such as, a free drink or a free shot

​

Yellow - An outstanding perk deal such as, meeting the celebrity or being seated at a VIP table

​

I had to design some of the icons for these perks, myself and the rest of the design team went for a clean, minimal and simple icon, all of which would be presented in white on top of their perk colour. We added a soft glow to the perk colour circles as to mimic the nightlife lighting found so frequently at Go Lyv events.

There were several different banners I had to design for the Go Lyv website. Some of these are to be used as placeholders for events without their own banners, some are used as profile banners and others are used as advertisements. Below are a selection of these banners I created for these purposes.
