I was set the task of recording a weeks worth of data about a topic that is relevant within my life. I love my LUSH baths, so I decided it would be suitable to record how many LUSH products I buy in a week, how many I used, which products I used and how long I was in the bath for. The main goal of the brief was for me to work out if the price of a LUSH product is worth the about of time you use it for. I made several different infographic posters to show different ways to record this data and visually see if the price was worth the value of the product. I made all the posters in the same layout and style, and only changed the main infographic layout to see which one represented the data most solidly and which one illustrated the brand identity of LUSH most vividly. The image with the white circle and yellow and pink graph lines through it was a representation of my favourite LUSH product: 'Intergalactic'. I also felt it showed the data the clearest out of all the other poster designs, hence I chose this as my final design for the brief. I concluded my question: 'Is the price worth the value of the product?', that for my lifestyle, it wasn't. I enjoyed this brief as I was able to connect with my designs in a more personal way.
